2010: The episodic marathon began at Echo Curio in Echo Park, Los Angeles...And completed its climactic finale in April, 2011 at Bootleg Theatre & WordSpace in Los Angeles!

Before What Ever and Tale of 2 Cities became acclaimed epic plays, they were underground serials: solo marathons written and performed week by week for a live audience.
Broadcast as radio-plays, published as novels and lauded as epic theatre works, these engrossing sagas started out as punkish experiments in Downtown NY and East Side L.A. hole-in- the wall spaces where weekly episodes were generated for a tiny group of on-lookers. This original audience grew - along with the story- and became part of an ever-expanding cast of characters, on-stage and off.
AS THE GLOBE WARMS is TODAY’S expansion of this experiment: The live serial  goes ON-LINE, in weekly installments, 48 weeks out of the year, while the "first draft" performance unfolded in front of live audiences in 1/2 hour installments - 34 weeks from January, 2010 through April, 2011.
